Intimate Columns Hotel Wedding | Lindsay & Charlie
Lindsay and Charlie’s intimate Columns Hotel wedding makes a case for small weddings, as if we weren’t already huge fans.
Smaller ceremonies exploded in popularity in the last few years, and though smaller in scale, the charming details make them just as special as more traditional weddings. We hope they’re here to stay!
Before their Columns Hotel wedding, the couple started their day at the new Virgin Hotel in downtown New Orleans. Their stunning suite was a perfect backdrop for those fun “getting ready” photos and nerve-calming cocktails.
We then strolled around Coliseum Square Park in the Lower Garden District for Lindsay and Charles’ first look. They were all smiles before heading to the Columns Hotel on St. Charles Avenue for their intimate ceremony.
The bride and groom said “I do” on the balcony of the hotel against a backdrop of ancient oaks. Following their intimate Columns Hotel wedding, the newlyweds enjoyed a champagne tower and a beautiful, colorful seated dinner with an incredible table scape surrounded by Cubs the Poet paintings.
The evening came to a close with a short but celebratory dance party with all their guests and so much love.
