Sunnie and David’s Big Bend engagement session took us on a trip we will never forget.

On the day we left for Big Bend, we met Sunnie and David at their house for breakfast.  Sunnie made us the most delicious avocado, peanut butter, and honey sandwiches (which we’ve eaten every day since we got home- we are hooked.) We got to see their beautiful home where we talked about antiques and met their two sweet cats.  Once the car was packed up, we headed to Big Bend, driving through the sweetest desert towns along the way.  Sunnie & David are so sweet to each other.  David drove the whole way with his hand on Sunnie’s knee and we listened to western music and talked about road trips.  As soon as we drove up to Big Bend, we knew that all the hype was true.  It was a beautiful place.  The next afternoon, we explored the park for their engagement session.  First stop was a sweet little fossil exhibit, followed by the Santa Elena Canyon, which is where David proposed to Sunnie.  Then we headed to higher ground, stopping to see countless ocotillo plants along the way.  We ended the evening at the top of the mountains with sunset view of the park.  We could see rain and lightning in the distance, which made it the most perfect, romantic place to finish up an engagement session.  Thanks Sunnie and David for such a fun weekend!
