ORDER OF EVENTS
We first met Shanece and Jarrid at our friend’s Andres and Shelbie’s wedding. We were so excited to hear that they got engaged, and thrilled when they reached out to us for photography. After one rainy reschedule, the day had come for their Fontainebleau State Park engagement session. We picked them up and met their sweet dog, then rode there together. We talked about traveling, fitness, music, and lots in between. The drive went by quickly, and we arrived at the park about two hours before sunset. We explored the park and walked through the beach out to a more secluded spots and started photographing. Shanece and Jarrid were so comfortable around each other. They know how to laugh together and lift each other up and it was so great learning about them and their relationship. It was a beautiful afternoon. Afterward, the four of us grabbed a quick dinner chipotle (which we were all very excited about) before heading home.
We love photographing sessions at Fountainbleau because there’s lots of open space and we can usually find some parts of the beach that we have all to ourselves. The quiet atmosphere and being near water makes this location a peaceful spot that is perfect for a relaxing engagement session where you can really enjoy each other and the beautiful scenery. If you feel like you may feel more at ease with your photo being taken around fewer people, scenic places and parks like these are perfect.
