ORDER OF EVENTS
Ashton and Alex’s New Orleans Pitot House wedding was sentimental and filled with love. Ashton and Alex both got ready at the Lafayette Hotel with their closest friends and family members. Their friends and family members went in and out of both of their hotel rooms to share love and encouragement as the two of them got ready.
Ashton wore a gorgeous dress by Joi Johnston that was re-designed from Alex’s mother’s dress, and a surprise to Alex. Alex rocked the coolest hair braid in NOLA, and they were so excited to see each other. We all headed over to the Pitot House for a happy and emotional first look on the balcony followed by some sweet photos of the two of them in the gardens and on the property.
Family and friends started arriving as we finished up family portraits and everyone was so happy for the two of them. Teary-eyed friends and family members stood around them one of their best friends officiated their ceremony, making it sweet, personal, and sentimental. The two said “I do”, popped a bottle of champagne, and it was time for the party. Everyone danced and ate delicious food from two local food trucks. From their friend preforming the ceremony, to Ashton’s dress, to the cake table filled with photographs, and the sentimental slideshow that Ashton made in tribute to Alex’s mom, these two put so much thought in personalizing their day. The night ended with a sparkler exit on the Bayou St. John.
