Meryl’s Race and Religious bridal session took place at one of my favorite venues in New Orleans.
Part of what makes this career path so special for us is the ability to meet so many wonderful people. We were lucky enough to meet Meryl for the first time over drinks (we are never opposed to discussing wedding photography over a good old fashioned), and I knew from that night that she was someone I could see myself becoming good friends with. We talked often during the wedding planning process, bonding over the benefits and struggles over doing a destination wedding, and planning out all of the beautiful scenery that we would see together for their wedding. We knew Meryl was an awesome person, but it wasn’t until we spent the week with her and Jeremy and their families in Hawaii that we realized how truly special this human is. Meryl is hard working in every sense of the word, and her relationships with the people around her show just how big her heart really is.
Her mom told us over and over during her bridal session that once we got back from the trip, we would be part of their family, and what a beautiful family it is. Thank you Meryl and Jeremy for inviting us to be a part of such an intimate ceremony and a wonderful week getting to know you guys and the people who are most important to you.
