New Orleans Ferry Engagement Session

Kelly + Dane | New Orleans Ferry Engagement Session

Kelly and Dane’s New Orleans ferry engagement session was filled with fun and laughter.  We started off the session in Algiers which is a quiet residential area across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans, complete with a gorgeous view of the city and the French Quarter.

After a few photos near the water, we hopped on the ferry and crossed the river over to the city.  We loved the Wes Anderson color scheme of the ferry and even the station was industiral and unique to photograph in.  Next, we explored the Marigny and Bywater areas finding an abandoned couch and lots of colorful backdrops.  After hearing a few of Dane’s jokes and learning about Kelly’s career (check out her drawings here), we hopped back on the ferry to Algiers where we watched the sunset over the city.  They showed us the spot where Dane proposed to Kelly and we finished off the night with a bourbon nightcap.  We love working with couples who can laugh and have fun together and these two were the perfect example of that.

Kelly and Dane- thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of this special time in your lives.  We truly had a blast the afternoon of this session and we cannot wait to hang out with you two again.
