We live less than a mile from City Park and it’s been our favorite spot in NOLA since we moved here this summer. New Orleans elopement inquiries are always exciting, but City Park elopements are extra special to us. City Park is such a great place to elope in the city because it has so much to offer – wide-open spaces, peaceful waterways, majestic oak trees that make the perfect backdrop to celebrate a forever love. Even when lots of people are visiting the park, it’s big enough to find a scenic spot that’s tucked away from everyone else, making it the perfect, intimate, peaceful place to focus on each other and soak up the moment.
Morgan and Dylan decided to have a sweet, intimate, just the two of them elopement ceremony in City Park on New Year’s Day. It was the perfect way to start this year (and decade) and we were so happy to work with them. LaToya from Waning Moon Weddings officiated their wedding celebration underneath low hanging oak tree branches. It was a peaceful, overcast day, and we were honored to be a part of it.
Morgan and Dylan, thanks so much for having us. Here are a few of our favorite images from their intimate New Orleans elopement in City Park.
