There was so much magic surrounding this whole week of Charles and Christin’s South Africa forest wedding.  I can go on and on about how incredible South Africa was (more safari and other adventure pics coming soon to the travel part of our blog), but the people that we met here made this trip truly unforgettable.  We’ve been home for over a month now, and I still reminisce about the landscape, and the animals, and the late night conversations we had with other wedding guests staying at the stable-turned-lodge wedding venue.  Charles and Christin’s day was so laid back and filled with such an inspirational kind of love.  From the ceremony officiant being family, to the speeches that left everyone in tears, their day was truly a reflection of how special Christin and Charles are, and the kind of wonderful people that they attract into their lives.

Christin:
“The entire day was the most magical experience, just being back in South Africa alone gave me all the nostalgic feels. A moment that stick’s out to me was when Chuck’s Dad, who was marrying us, asked us to turn and face our friends and family before he announced us as husband and wife. This gave me an opportunity to look out at all the important people in our life and to reflect on how each of them made an effort to be with us on our special day as well as shaping us into the couple that we are! It is something I will remember forever, while holding my husbands hand tight, right before sealing our vows with a kiss.”

Chuck:
“The entire day was an absolute roller coaster of emotion and by far the most magical day of my life. If I were to pick a moment that stuck out to me, it would be the moment that all the bridesmaids surrounded my lovely bride and there was complete silence….and then I hear the most classical version of the Harry Potter theme song that Christin chose to walk down the isle to. This moment instantly made me smile.”
